Joints

Joints are the communication between two or bones. They compromise of the smooth hyaline cartridge that comprises the articular surfaces.

The joints lubricated by the synovial fluid, which is retained within the joint capsule by a membrane.

The ligaments are strong fibrous tissues that run across the joint and provide stability.

Muscles are contractile tissues that create movement within the joint. The muscles connect to the bones via tendons, which act as pullies for the muscles.
